Dmitry Viktorovich Ptashinsky was born on December 14, 1967 in Moscow. In 1992, he graduated with honors from the Moscow Institute of Steel and Alloys with a degree in Metal Physics, and in 1998 - from the All-Russian Correspondence Financial and Economic Institute with a degree in Finance and Credit. He completed professional retraining at the Moscow Institute of Steel and Alloys in the specialty "Financial Management". Since 1998, he started his own business in the cable industry. In 2000, he founded the Energokabel cable plant in the Moscow region, and since 2001 currently holds the post of Chairman of the Board of Directors of this company. All these years, the company has been developing at an accelerated pace, and today it produces more than 90,000 brand sizes of cables and wires. The plant is considered one of the recognized industry leaders in product quality.
D.V.Ptashinsky is a well–known specialist in the field of production organization and quality assurance and safety of cable products. He has repeatedly made thematic presentations at industry and regional conferences and electrotechnical forums, is a co-author of 15 inventions and utility models for cables of various designs.
D.V.Ptashinsky was awarded the title of "Honorary Citizen of the city of Elektrougli", has a number of industry and regional awards.
